MediMeet - Connecting patience & Doctor efficiently

Problem Statement
The start-up Medimeet Developed a revolutionary problem-solving framework. In today's busy world people always struggle to find a convenient and efficient way to schedule doctor appointments. Most appointments are made over the phone calls or in person, it can be time-consuming and inconvenient.
Solution
I worked on this Medimeet application that can provide a user-friendly experience for individuals to easily search for doctors, view their availability, and book appointments.
I tried my best to address some pain points that occur during the process of appointment in real life.
Here are some of the key points I work on.
Process
After understanding the company's needs and expectations, I designed an application for scheduling appointments with healthcare professionals. One of the key features I worked on was the booking appointment feature, which played a private role in enhancing user experience and accessibility to healthcare services.
User Research
I conducted user research and received feedback from users that we incorporated into personas. For example, our persona Aliva is so busy in her work life that she can not concentrate on her health, and it is too hectic for her to find a doctor according to her health and book an appointment. Also, she does not find any suitable application for this.
User Journey
I also created a user journey to better illustrate the difficulty people face when they are in the process of booking an appointment.
Sketch
The process below begins with my initial ideas wireframe, then moves to mock-ups, and finally to the high-fidelity prototype. In the simple version you can see how I approach solves the users' needs.
Wireframe and Prototype
I then brought my idea to an interactive digital low-fidelity prototype and brought it to four potential users to collect feedback.
Major Design Interaction
Interaction- 1.- Emergency Ambulance Service
It can have an emergency ambulance which can help people a lot. There are always problems that occur when finding an ambulance, so I added this feature so that it can be helpful to people when needed.
Interaction - 2. - Private Doctor available
Suggest private doctors as well as clinic doctors. You can also book appointments for private doctors in this application. It shows that this application is not only for any specific medical/clinic. It provides as well as possible availability.
Final Design
Testimony/ Feedback
Our app has played a crucial role in making healthcare more accessible to underserved communities. Users from remote areas and those with mobility limitations have reported significant benefits from being able to book appointments remotely, eliminating the need for long travel times. The timely booking of appointments through our app has resulted in faster diagnosis and treatment, leading to better health outcomes for patients.
What I Learned
Throughout my time working at MediMeet, I've learned the importance of gathering as much feedback in the early phase of the project. I learned to approach feedback with an open mind and leverage it as an opportunity for growth. Through user research, wireframes, and usability testing, I gained insights into the importance of designing with the end user in mind. Developing the app provided me with numerous opportunities for personal growth, from overcoming technical challenges to refining my problem-solving and decision-making abilities. It was a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
